Aeolin says I'm ready to set out on my own now. I'm wondering about the cause of the giant invasion in Cormyr, so I'm going to head over there and check it out.

Found myself in Marsember. Located local in charge, Bram Scoril. There is a local adventuring party that is dealing with the giant problem. Signed on.
The party consists of a Mighty (O? D?)-fender of Kord named Tarn, Two Paladins - Ragnar and Thorington, an orc named Gar, and a pale guy named Iceal. They have a magic chain that will teleport the group to a Frost Giant lair.
Teleported to Frost Giant Realm. Killed several Frost Giants and Hill Giants. Rested.

Continued exploration of Frost Giant Stronghold. Thorington lost his marbles and left the group. Iceal and Gar escorted him out. They have not yet returned.
Deathtoll - four frost giants, two fire giant emissaries, twelve winter wolves, four hill giant monks, huge frost worm.

Near escapes - Tarn, Wesley (a wizard that we rescued) and a storm giant rogue.

Cleared out what we believed to be the remainder of the first level. The second level contained a 'spellgem minefield' that killed Wesley via phantasmal killer. We have not yet encountered the Jarl, but we found his throne room and killed his right hand man.
